Ranthambhore Safari Procedure & Prices

When you book your safari with us, everything is taken care of to the last detail. Your safari vehicle will collect you directly from your hotel and then proceed to take you through the park on your safari. Afterwards, the same vehicle will then drop you back to your hotel.

For the morning safari, your vehicle will collect you anytime between 06:30 - 07:00. You are welcome to wait inside your room and the driver will let you know when he arrives. You'll be back by around 10:00 where you can enjoy a full brunch. In the afternoon, you will be collected between 14:30 - 15:00 and then returned at approximately 18:00.

It's a good idea to carry some warm clothing as the early morning and early evening can get a bit chilly in the colder months between November - February. We also ask that you take sufficient water bottles on board with you. All safari guests must also take their passport/identification with them on safari, as the tickets are matched to the ticket holder at the point of park entry. This helps to avoid fake bookings and the selling of tickets at inflated prices.

Safari Vehicles

The Jeep has six guest seats, plus two for the driver and naturalist. The Jeep is recommended for small groups. This vehicle can be booked as exclusive, although all six seats must be paid for to secure its exclusive status.

There are two types of vehicles permitted into Ranthambhore National Park, the  Jeep and the Canter.

The canter comes in two sorts, diesel and petrol. The diesel canter has 20 guest seats and the petrol has 16. We recommend the canter for large groups or budget travellers. The canter can be booked as exclusive, although all seats must be paid for.

Safari Prices

The prices below are all inclusive. This means that they include the park transfers to and from, vehicle, driver, naturalist, park entry and taxes. They exclude driver/naturalist tips and water bottles.
