Tour: A Day in Ranthambhore

Tour Itinerary

6:30 - 10:00AM
Your safari vehicle will collect you from your hotel and proceed to Ranthambhore National Park.The park is home to a wild variety of animals, plants and bird species. Included in this is the tiger, the leopard, sloth bear, wild boar, sambar deer, jackall, hyena, parakeet, peacock, crocodile and many many more.

As you work your way through the depths of the jungle, your naturalist will inform you on the life and habits of the animals. Your naturalist will listen out for warning calls made by the animals, in order to track the tiger. The naturlalist is talented enough to reply to the animals warning calls - a very impressive trick! They will also look out for paw prints made by the big cat, so you can follow them and spot the tiger. 

Your morning safari will end at approximately 10am and you will return back to your hotel for a good, hearty brunch. Adventure Safari Tours can provide an optional restaurant brunch outside of your hotel, if desired.

11:00AM - 02:00PM
Between 11 and 2, you are free to relax and enjoy the beauty of Ranthambhore. However, if you'd like to explore more of Ranthambhore then there are numerous excursions and activities on offer that we are more than happy to arrange for you. 02:30PM - 06:00PM
This afternoon, head back to the park for a second game drive safari through Ranthambhore National Park. Your vehicle will collect you anytime between 2:30 and 3. Don't worry - a member of hotel staff will alert you when your driver has arrived. Seeing the sun set in Ranthambhore National Park, over the famous Ranthambhore Fort, lake and trees is a beautiful sight. As the sun sets, an orangey glow transforms the park into a majestical forest.

07:00PM - Late
We can provide an optional restaurant dinner with traditional Rajashani show, if desired. Enjoy a drink after your dinner, while watching heritage dancing and singing as you relax and fondly remember your adventure in Ranthambhore National Park.
